This collection reflects on Jerusalem, a city that is at once near and distant and on the elusive, almost inexplicable relationship we have with it.
Only 90 kilometres separate Jerusalem from Amman, yet the city remains beyond reach. From the surrounding hills and highlands, we look towards it, hoping to catch a glimpse of its golden dome. We search for it from every elevated point, as if distance might suddenly give way to sight.
It is there, so close and yet so far, a city made distant by occupation.
Will I see you?
